    • Girdling of shoots at flowering reduces shatter in grapevine cv. Malbec.

Carrillo, Natalia; Piccoli, Patricia; Bottini, Rubén; Rodríguez, José; Berli, Federico (Comité editorial Australian Journal of Grape and Wine Research, 2020-02-17)
ARTÍCULO PUBLICADO EN REVISTA EXTERNA. Background and Aims Some grapevine cultivars such as Malbec have unstable yield, due to poor fruitset or fruitlet abscission. The phenomenon is known as ‘shatter’ and this study aims to explore the potential of applying the shoot girdling technique at flowering, to direct the carbohydrate partitioning towards inflorescences and reduce shatter. Methods and Results Fruitful Malbec shoots were girdled above the apical bunch, below the basal bunch, double girdled or not girdled (Control) during 2017 and 2018. Most vegetative growth parameters were unaffected, ...
    • Identity and parentage of some South American grapevine cultivars present in Argentina.

Aliquó, Gustavo; Torres, Rocío; Lacombe, Thierry; Boursiquot, Jean Michel; Laucou, Valérie; Gualpa, José; Fanzone, Martín; Sari, Santiago; Pérez Peña, Jorge; Prieto, Jorge Alejandro (Comité editorial Australian Journal of Grape and Wine Research, 2017-05-03)
ARTÍCULO PUBLICADO EN REVISTA EXTERNA. Background and Aims: Based on 19 nuclear simple sequence repeat markers and parental analysis, we aimed to identify and propose the pedigree of different accessions held at the Estación Experimental Agropecuaria Mendoza of the Instituto Nacional de Tecnología Agropecuaria germplasmcollection. The results were compared with data recorded in large, international databases. Methods and Results: We identified 37 different cultivars, of which 18 were original and not previously identified. The parentage analysis showed that European cultivars, such as Muscat ...

    • Phenolic and sensory profiles discriminate geographical indications for Malbec wines from different regions of Mendoza, Argentina.

Urvieta, Roy; Buscema, Fernando; Bottini, Rubén; Fontana, Ariel (Comité Editorial Food Chemistry., 2018-11-01)
ARTÍCULO PUBLICADO EN REVISTA EXTERNA. Malbec wines from 27 parcels from the three most important winemaking regions of Mendoza, Argentina, were produced under standardized winemaking conditions, and analyzed for phenolic composition and by means of sensory descriptive analysis. Different methods of characterization and cluster analysis for each data matrix showed that some locations of Mendoza could be significantly separated from each other. The results of unsupervised statistical methods were compared using a test for similarities and divergences, also showing that different locations may be ...
    • Plant growth promoting rhizobacteria alleviate stress by AsIII in grapevine.

Funes Pinter, Mariano Iván; Salomón, María Victoria; Berli, Federico; Gil, Raúl; Bottini, Rubén; Piccoli, Patricia (Comité Editorial Agriculture, Ecosystems and Environment., 2018-11-15)
ARTÍCULO PUBLICADO EN REVISTA EXTERNA. Arsenic (As) in the environment is an increasing problem all over the world that limits crop yield, and therefore, remediation strategies like inoculation with plant growth promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR) are necessary. The objective of the current study was to assess PGPR ability to reduce AsIII toxicity in grapevine (Vitis vinifera L. cv. Malbec). Two-year old grape plant-sprouts grown in 10 L pots were inoculated weekly with Bacillus licheniformis, Micrococcus luteus, Pseudomonas fluorescens, a consortium of the three strains, or water (control). Plants ...

    • Tropospheric Products from High-Level GNSS Processing in Latin America

Mackern, María Virginia; Mateo, María Laura; Camisay, María Fernanda; Morichetti, Paola Vanina (Editorial International Association of Geodesy Symposia, 2020-07-25)
ARTÍCULO PUBLICADO EN REVISTA EXTERNA. The present geodetic reference frame in Latin America and the Caribbean is given by a network of about 400 continuously operating GNSS stations. These stations are routinely processed by ten Analysis Centres following the guidelines and standards set up by the International Earth Rotation and Reference Systems Service (IERS) and International GNSS Service (IGS). The Analysis Centres estimate daily and weekly station positions and station zenith tropospheric path delays (ZTD) with an hourly sampling rate. This contribution presents some attempts aiming ...
    • Varietalidad y etiquetado: porcentaje mínimo de cortes de vinos

Murgo, Marcelo; Coria, Carolina; Ortiz, Hugo; Videla, Rodolfo; Malanuik, Mario; Prieto, Sebastián; Aruani, Carla (Comité editorial BIO Web of Conferences, 2019-02-19)
